Frequently Asked Questions

Who Is This Journey For?

If you dream of nature, tranquillity, and unspoiled seascapes – welcome aboard. If you’re seeking loud entertainment, onboard animation, or bustling nightlife – this is not the trip for you.

No sailing experience? Absolutely no problem. Not as agile as you once were? We’ll ensure your safety and comfort every step of the way. Our vessel offers secure stairways, wide level walkways, and plenty of inviting spots to relax.

Transfers

Can be arranged to your request and charged accordingly.

Luggage

For the days on board, we recommend packing a smaller travel bag. Lager luggage can be stored at our landbased warehouse.

Valuable Belongings

For safety reasons we suggest to deposit your valuables in a sealed envelope and we collect all together in a seaworthy Pelican Case. In case of emergency evacuation no guests are allowed to carry luggage into the Life raft. The ship documents and all registrations from the crew will be carried in this box from the captain to safety.

Dining On Board

Our onboard cuisine features an abundance of fresh seafood and authentic Thai dishes, complemented by occasional international favourites.
Meals are served as 4- or 5-course menus, with alternatives available for guests who don’t eat fish.

If you have food allergies, please let us know at the start of your trip or while filling out the reservation form. Vegetarian or special-diet meals will be prepared separately by our skilled cook – we’ve always found a way to accommodate everyone.

Complimentary drinks include Sprite, Cola, orange soda, soda water, still water, coffee, and tea – all available throughout the journey. Fresh fruit shakes and other beverages are available at a small additional charge.

Shore Excursions

We do not visit busy towns or tourist hubs so far it is not requested by our clients. Instead, all landings are on nearly deserted beaches and islands, reached free of charge via our own dinghy. At many stops, you can simply swim ashore from the ship and explore independently – with the captain’s permission.

Towels & Bed Linen

Each guest receives one towel, which can be exchanged on the second day. We recommend bringing an additional towel for swimming and sunbathing – or a sarong, which works beautifully as a lounger cover. If you prefer to travel light, extra towels can be rented for a small fee. Our beds feature pure cotton sheets and top-quality microfiber blankets, ensuring you sleep as soundly as the owner does on board.

What to Wear

Very little clothing is needed. Most guests spend their days in swimwear.
At mealtimes, we simply ask for a T-shirt or light top at the table. Otherwise, a sarong or other light clothing is more than enough.

Onboard Payments

We accept:

Cash in Euros, Thai Baht or US dollars. Credit card payments are not possible on board. We also accept transfers via WISE account.

WiFi Connectivity

We have the internet on board. Around 80–90% of the journey has a signal.
We encourage guests to enjoy a truly relaxing, internet-light holiday.

Quiet Hours/ Night Sailing

Our days begin early, with many guests enjoying their first swim at sunrise. As darkness falls early, most turn in at a reasonable hour – though late-night fishing or stargazing chats do sometimes happen. We do not sail at night. We anchor at sunset, moving only if weather conditions require – a quick, simple manoeuvre thanks to sheltered anchorages.

Air Conditioning

Is available under needed conditions for the Dormitory. Some Midday when the sun is unvergivable bright we open up the aircon to cool down and charge the batteries. Cooling a vessel this size would require a large generator, producing constant noise and exhaust – exactly when the air is still and AC would be most desired. We’ve designed the ship for natural airflow.
Sea breezes keep the climate fresh and pleasant, and a dip in the ocean will cool you down any time of day.

Bathrooms

As on most traditional sailing ships, we do not have ensuite bathrooms. Instead, there are two spacious, meticulously maintained shared bathrooms, cleaned hourly. Unlike many cruises where swimming from the vessel is not allowed, here you can jump into the sea whenever you like – often 10 or more times a day – and rinse off on the swim ladder.

Charging Stations

Our charging stations operate around the clock, so you can plug in and charge anytime. Each room is equipped with 220V power outlets, ensuring every guest has convenient access.

Please bring your own charging cable and adapter. We provide power outlets only that support standard mobile devices, laptops, power banks, and most USB-powered electronics. High-watt charging ports are available for fast-charge compatible devices.

We recommend staying near your device. While our outlets are stable and safe, we cannot take responsibility for personal belongings left behind.
